So I went to Terezín today, and I’m really glad I did. When we read the large number of people that were there I couldn’t even begin to try to fathom what the place looked like filled with people. Its absolutely unbelievable that something like that could happen, and I suppose more unbelievable is that cases like this (i.e. darfur) are still happening today. I would have liked to look at the museum and everything a bit more, but the last bus left at like 3:30, and the thought of staying in that town overnight kind of made me sick to my stomach.
