An email I got about my trip this weekend that’s pretty much fully payed for by NYU

Dear students,
this is what is superb about your stay in a foreign country: trips!
So there is a Music trip ahead of us. Let me say a few facts: please bring warm clothes!!!
this is our guide along the trip: Jiri Plocek.  He is a musicologist, he has Ph.D in Chemistry from US university.  He plays multiple instruments and is a great person!  We will listen to a folklore music on Friday night: Petr Mička’s band

Friday, 18th September

8:00  am from Náměstí Míru
11:00 am arrival to Brno: Leoš Janáček Museum
12:30 pm   Lunch  - on your own -
2 pm Walk around Brno with our guide, musicologist, Jiří Plocek
5 pm  Departure to Vranov nad Dyjí
7:30 pm Dinner in Country Saloon in Vranov nad Dyjí + after dinner folklore music group of Petr Mička!!!!!
Saturday, 19th September
8-8:45am  Breakfast
9am departure to Lednicko – Valticky areal – boat trip, park and greenhouse
2pm  Lunch on the road
3 pm Arrival  to Bzenec
Music and Wine Festival in Bzenec
5:30 pm Departure 
9 pm Arrival to Prague

I’m very excited too.  I was one of those people that slept in when everyone woke up early to pick their trips (oops), but I think I got a pretty good one when I signed up a few days later.  It’s the “music trip” but a non-music students are going to including my friend who was equally as spacey and signed up late.  We’ve both been asking around to see who we’ll be traveling with, and it seems to be a pretty awesome group of people seeing some pretty awesome things in the Czech Republic this weekend!

Oh i’d also like to point out that I wasn’t the one who found these pictures that I’ve included.  I guess there’s not much to see in Bzenec besides the wine festival.
